Dear Friend of the Crosiers,
Do you have a friend or loved one suffering from physical or emotional pain? Do you know someone going through a personal crisis or struggling with life’s daily tasks? Finding the right words to say in these difficult situations can leave you feeling helpless, but you are not alone.
The Crosier Fathers and Brothers at the National Shrine of St. Odilia are here to offer prayers on your behalf. Prayer has the power to heal in many different ways. Often when you feel helpless, the best gift you can give a person is the gift of your prayers. I invite you to use our Prayer for Healing card to express your prayer and concern for a friend or loved one. When you use the card, you convey your care for the person and let them know that you, along with the Crosier Fathers and Brothers, are praying for them in their time of need.
As a religious community, we Crosiers spend a good amount of time in prayer every day. We awake each morning and offer our prayers for you and all who are in need of the Lord’s merciful love. We gather in the National Shrine of St. Odilia five times a day to pray for the needs of those who request our prayers, along with the needs of the Church and world.
Who is the one person, friend or loved one, most in need of your prayers? I invite you to take a moment right now to enroll that person via our Prayer for Healing card, along with your intentions, which will be placed at the National Shrine of St. Odilia here in Onamia, Minnesota. Patroness of the blind and all who suffer ailments of the body, mind, or spirit, St. Odilia has promised to shower a stream of graces upon all who invoke her name in their hour of need. You may also wish to have additional Prayer for Healing cards to send to other people or for future use. You may order up to three Prayer for Healing cards. In the Comment box on the secure donation page, we ask that you please indicate the names of the people for whom you are requesting prayers for healing.
When you send a generous gift with your prayer enrollment, you enable us to continue our mission of spreading the Gospel of Christ to the ends of the earth. We are here to pray for you, for your friends and loved ones, and for all in need of the Lord’s healing power. Your kindness in response to our invitation to prayer is both a blessing and an inspiration to us!
Sincerely in Christ,
V. Rev. Kermit M. Holl, osc
Prior, Crosier Community of Onamia
PS: I hope you will enroll a friend or loved one today. Including a generous gift of $20 or more would go a long way in helping our various ministries here at the National Shrine of St. Odilia.
