ekLAYsia is a program designed to empower adult lay Catholic men and women, 18 years of age and older. It provides resources to lay people who feel personally called to participate more effectively in meeting the challenges of Church life today. It is a lay advocacy program of Crosier Village Ministries in Phoenix. Join us for an informational session to see if this program is for you.
The ekLAYsia program has three learning components:
- to deepen lay ecclesial identity and spirituality, including acquaintance with Church governance as it relates to laity
- to develop skills for discernment, communication, negotiation, conflict resolution, strategic thinking and resilience in serving
- to design a personal field project guided by mentors to create effective strategies for needed changes in today’s Church
