Horarium – Typical Daily Schedule
For the Crosiers, each day is set upon the foundation of community prayer in the Liturgy of the Hours and Conventual (Community) Eucharist.
The main hours of our prayer are morning prayer (Lauds) and evening prayer (Vespers), along with daily Eucharist. Lesser hours are midday prayer and night prayer.
Many Crosiers then set out to work in their respective ministries within their larger communities.
Late in the afternoon, we gather for evening prayer, usually followed by a time of "recreation" when we share with one another about our day and the events of our Church and world, offering hospitality to guests who have joined us. Dinner follows, a time for further fraternal sharing.
The evening varies again by individual and closes with night prayer.
