The Association of the Companions of the Holy Cross is a fellowship of Christians who wish to deepen their baptismal commitment through the inspiration of the Crosier way of life, prayer and service. With the Crosiers, they seek to build community in our world, to love and pray the liturgy of the Church more deeply and to use their gifts fruitfully in the service of others. The Companions share the Crosier passion for building Christ’s Kingdom and, through the spirituality of the Glorious Cross, become ambassadors of hope in today’s Church and society.
To be a Companion is to dedicate oneself to the Kingdom of God through a commitment to fellowship, prayer and service in the spirit of the Crosier Order. The Companions are organized into “chapters” where they listen and speak to one another, where they pray as the Church and where they discover the call of God for authentic Christian life and service in the world of today. The Companions embrace the deepest Gospel values of the poor, chaste and obedient Christ in their own lives. They share in the mystery of the Lord’s Death and Resurrection as the path toward human and Christian maturity.
